It was only a week before the wedding when I got the call to do hair for Leigh. Her other hairstylist had just fallen through. We had recently met when I filled-in to do her hair for her bridal portraits, and was thrilled to get to be part of her special day.
And what a special day it was. The venue at Rose Hill Plantation was breathtaking--like a scene straight out of Gone With the Wind or a similar romantic tale set on a gorgeous, old plantation. From the scenic views of the vast acreage along the gravel drive, to the beautiful architecture both inside and out, it was a perfectly updated, classic plantation house. It was the perfect place for a romantic, southern wedding.
Leigh and her girls were so much fun. Leigh was so full of happiness, laughter, and expectation--she wasn't nervous at all. She had surrounded herself with the best of friends, and the love that they had for each other and the fun that they had with each other set the tone for the whole day.
After having a full day of cheerful company and pictures taken by Bill Goode that capture the pleasure of Rose Hill Plantation, I highly recommend anyone to take a tour and consider this venue for any classic, timeless event!
And I wish Leigh and her groom a lifetime of happiness!
